What the published research covers
First isolated from plasma in 1973. It has been studied in cell culture and animal wound models, and it is widely used as a cosmetic ingredient under the name copper tripeptide-1.
Regulatory status
Not approved by the FDA for any use. Supplied for laboratory research only.
Testing and documentation
Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC; copper content is a separate measurement. The certificate of analysis for the batch is reachable from the code on the vial.
