What research use only means, and how we sell it retail.
Every vial we sell is labeled for research use only. That line is not fine print; it is what the product is. Here is what it means, what it does not mean, and how a shop in Great Falls, Montana comes to sell it by the vial.
What the label says
Research use only, RUO, is a regulatory category. A product labeled RUO is sold as a chemical for laboratory use: it is not a drug, not a supplement, not a food and not a cosmetic. It has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness in anyone, and it is not made to the standards a medicine is made to. The label means what it says: not for human or veterinary use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Why a store sells research peptides
Laboratories, universities and independent researchers study peptides for what they do in cells and in animals. That work needs the peptide itself, in a known amount and at a known purity, with paperwork that says so. A supplier's job is the material and the proof: identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC, and a certificate of analysis for the batch that anybody can read.
What retail means here
Most suppliers sell by the case to institutions. We sell by the vial as well, to the individual researcher, from the same batches and with the same certificate: the code on every vial opens its certificate, no account needed. Orders ship from Montana the next business day, and in Great Falls you can walk in and buy over the counter.
What you agree to
Every order, in the store or online, is sold under our Research Use Agreement. It says that you are buying for research, that you are an adult, and that you understand the product is not for use on a person or an animal. The full text is on this site for anyone to read before they agree to it.
What we will not do
We do not say what a peptide does in a person, suggest an amount, or answer questions about taking it, because nothing we sell is for that. What we will do is tell you what the published research examined, in the model it used, on each product page, and show you the certificate for the batch in your hand.
